Echo Power Trimmer 2620T Review – Weed Eating Beast

Today we're going to be doing a review of the ECHO2620T and here are the criteria’s:

• Is it durable?
• Is it going to make you money?

I'm not going to be very technical because I don't care if the engine displacement is 12.1 cc's or twelve 12.2 cc's what I care about is it going to last? Is that thing going to put money in my back pocket? A tool is a means to an end for me.

Let's talk about some of the specs on this 2620T. This is one of the largest and most powerful in the Echo line up. This machine was able to tackle some of the worst conditions I was able to throw at it, and it did it like a knife cutting through hot butter. Power and fuel increase leads to increased weight. Now the pro and the con.  The pro is if you’re going to buy one machine to do just about everything in your life, this is the machine for you. If you have tall grass, or you need to trim the ditch or something, you’re going to want something that is going to be able to cut through it. But, if you don't need that extra power and want something that's moderate weight, this machine is over kill for you. We have a ten-acre site that needs trimming to be done between our Echo 2620T and are smaller Echo model.  Our guys prefer the smaller echo model  for trimming short grass or when  they have to carry the machine for hours on end without setting  it down. In that case, the extra weight on the 2620T becomes cumbersome.

Extra Power = Extra Weight

But, you can see during this clip that extra weight and extra power can give you versatility when you're doing more than just trimming short grass.  Now when you hit the gold trigger on this 2620T it delivers a media power, kind of like a jet engine just taken off with...Absolutely love the response and as long as you don't die then, you're going to be able to handle just about anything you can throw at it.  When you hit the gold trigger on this 2620T, it delivers a lot of power.  Kind of like a jet engine just taking off.  Absolutely love the response and as long as you don't die then, you're going to be able to handle just about anything you can throw at it. And this is also for a heavier machine, it is balanced the same with all of the other echo trimmers up in the line right at the center handle where you need equal weight from the engine to the cutting head it's well rounded versatile but it's heavier and that can lead to increased operator fatigue over the long run so, If you need one machine with versatility you're going to want to look at the 2620T but, if you never anticipate cutting grass over two or three inches tall you might want to look at a later unit easier to carry for longer periods of time what do you guys look for when you're going to buy a trimmer please tell me in the comments down below and please subscribe and hit the like button.   God Bless!
